BIO
Matthew opened Macabre Theatre Company in 2013 with an adaption of the classic Peter Pan. Since then he has produced and directed over fifteen productions here on the Fraser Coast, most recently The Producers staged at the Brolga Theatre. Over the past fifteen years Matthew has worked to learn from many different directors and artist both here and at The Woodford Folk Festival, where he has been a Visual Artist, Performer, Scene Captain, Assistant Stage Manager and Lighting Director of the Closing Fire Event. It is Matthew's hope to establish Macabre Theatre Company as one of the first Professional Arts Organisations in Regional Queensland and looks forward to the development of meaningful arts education for artists from a range of experiences and styles.
